Celebrate the Red Raiders’ Big 12 championship with this historic front page
Seventy years. That's how long Red Raiders fans waited for this moment. Generations of families who bled scarlet and black through the close calls, the heartbreakers, the "next year" promises that never quite came true. On December 6, 2025, at AT&T Stadium, Texas Tech didn't just beat BYU 34-7. They ended seven decades of waiting. The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal captured it all on the front page: Ben Roberts hoisting the MVP trophy, championship belt draped over his shoulder, the word every Tech fan had been waiting their whole lives to read splashed across the top in giant letters. CHAMPS.
This front page tells the complete story in a single frame. The final score. The stadium. The moment patience finally paid off. Whether you were in Arlington screaming yourself hoarse or watching from Lubbock with three generations of family gathered around the TV, this is the image that proves it happened. Now you can put it where it belongs: on your wall, in your office, anywhere you need a daily reminder of what December 6, 2025 felt like.
You know exactly who needs this. The dad who drove you to games before you were old enough to remember. The roommate who made you believe this was finally the year. The Tech grad whose bare wall has been waiting for something worthy. This official Lubbock Avalanche-Journal commemorative front page comes ready to hang in four premium formats, printed to last as long as the memory itself.
