Celebrate IU’s first perfect season with this historic front page
Some seasons are good. Some are great. And then there's 2025: the season that rewrote every record Indiana football had ever known.
Twelve wins, surpassing the 1945 team's nine victories to set a new program record. The first perfect regular season in school history. Indiana's first Big Ten Championship appearance, ever. The first conference title share since Lyndon Johnson was in the White House. Twenty-three wins over two years, more than any stretch in 135 years of Hoosier football.
This Indianapolis Star commemorative print captures the magnitude of what happened in Bloomington. The statistics tell the story, but the image tells the feeling ... what it meant to be part of Hoosier Nation during the season that changed everything. For alumni, fans, and anyone connected to Indiana University, this is the defining document of a new era.
