Scottsbluff Star-Herald is pleased to announce a 136-page, hardcover book featuring 100 years of the monument’s history, “Scotts Bluff National Monument: Through the Years.” 

Photographs for this memorable keepsake will be curated from the archives of the Star-Herald, the Legacy of the Plains Museum, photographer Tom Downey and Ken Kurtz from the C.W. Bonham collection. For more than a century the Scotts Bluff National Monument has guided travelers to their destination. From the American Indians to present day, visitors stand in awe of the large bluff, the badlands and the variety of wildlife inhabiting the land.
