About the book
Commemorate Arizona State’s first Big 12 championship with this coffee-table book
Coach Kenny Dillingham has led Arizona State football to the most unlikely of conference titles, taking the Big 12 crown in Year 1 as a Big 12 school. The stunning 2024 season marks the first outright conference championship since the Sun Devils won the Pac-10 title in 1996. You can relive it all in “Forks Up! How Arizona State Captured the Big 12 Championship in Year One.” This terrific 160-page hardcover collector's book from the award-winning journalists at The Arizona Republic takes you up close with dynamic words and photos to experience every pivotal moment of ASU’s magical season.
Predicted to finish last in the 16-team Big 12 Conference, the Sun Devils became a shocking success story under Dillingham, who went 3-9 in 2023 after taking the reins of a troubled program and who remained, at 34, the youngest coach in Division I football. Before beating Iowa State in the Big 12 championship game, the Sun Devils finished the regular season with dramatic victories over nationally ranked Kansas State and BYU and then a 49-7 wipeout of rival Arizona.
Whether you’re a lifelong Sun Devils fan or a recent convert, this book is a must-have addition to your collection. Don’t miss your chance to own a piece of ASU history — order your copy today!
