After the overwhelming popularity of volume one, The Daily Record is pleased to announce an all-new hardcover coffee-table book, “Wayne County Memories II: A Pictorial History of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.”
This beautiful, heirloom-quality second volume will feature Wooster and Wayne County through stunning historic photos. We are thrilled to include photos from our readers, in addition to photos carefully selected from the archives of the Wayne County Public Library, OARDC Library, Creston Historical Society and other archives throughout the county.
Love the book! Wish I could get a copy of the first one!
Well done. Paul did a beautiful job with the script. His learned knowledge of the area, antiques, and the local residents has shown up in this work.
I grew up in Wayne Co. Most of my live in the big city of Burton City. Seeing that picture of Mrs Garver was wonderful. Went to that all the time, penny candy. The whole book was great. Needed more pictures of the railroads. That would be a good book. Wayne Co and the railroads.
