This second edition of Rockford Memories comes close to crossing the line between history and, well, not history.
It’s one thing to chuckle over the haircuts and automobiles of the 1920s, and another altogether to find one’s high school graduating class in a book of historic photos. As you page through the 1940s, ’50s, and ’60s, many will experience that slight disconnect between the truly historical and the memories of things that were your childhood and adult years.
