About the book

Recollections: A Pictorial History of Lauderdale and Surrounding Counties

The Meridian Star is pleased to present this hardcover coffee-table book.

For the people who have lived here most of their lives, the unique flavor and history of our area needs no explanation, but for those without that advantage, these pages are filled with the rich heritage, culture, and events that have shaped and defined the lives of our citizens. This book includes a variety of current and historical events, and could not have done so without the help of the readers, local businesses, and historical preservation societies. As you turn these pages, it is our hope that you are filled with memories and emotions, and that the photos chosen will provide you with happy recollections of the past.
