After the overwhelming popularity of Mason City and Clear Lake Memories Volumes I and II, The Globe Gazette is proud to present this final volume in the “Memories” series: “Mason City and Clear Lake Memories III: More Than 125 Years of History in Photographs.”
This heirloom-quality coffee-table book offers a final glimpse of historic Mason City and Clear Lake from the early years to current day through stunning historic photos from the archives of Mason City Public Library, Clear Lake Public Library, Mason City Fire Department, and Mason City Police Department. In addition, as one last invitation, we are thrilled to include photographic memories of years gone by from our readers. This beautiful book truly captures the rich heritage of the area.
I lived in clear lake during my childhood (60's - 80's) and now live here in my retirement. I enjoyed all 3 volumes immensely. I was pleased that the books arrived so promptly and in great condition!
Well done Pediment!
Born and raised in Mason City. I moved away 39 years ago, but still have great memories. I’m very disappointed in the lack of photos truly showing all the different areas in the city. I’m not sure if you didn’t have the budget or you relied on photos from only a few collections.
