This stunning, coffee-table hardcover book tells the story not only of the Green Bay Packers, but also of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, which has been an integral part of the Packers since its inception.

The Green Bay Packers were founded by local football star Curly Lambeau and Press-Gazette sports editor George W. Calhoun, who gathered Green Bay's best players at two meetings in the Press-Gazette offices in August 1919. Since that moment, the Press-Gazette has been covering the Packers.

Note: This book is an unofficial account of the history of the Packers from news coverage by the Green Bay Press-Gazette, and is not endorsed by the NFL or the Green Bay Packers.
