The telling of San Diego’s history through photos continues in this third installment of “San Diego Memories: A Time of Change — The 1960s and 1970s.”
Presented by the San Diego Union-Tribune in partnership with San Diego History Center, this 176-page hardcover book features baby boomers coming of age, rock ‘n’ roll, environmentalism, civil rights and feminism, the Vietnam War and economic distress, all from the archives of San Diego History Center and the Union-Tribune, plus submissions from the general public to show everyday life during this important time in San Diego history.
Lived in the San Diego area for two years in the late sixties, this was a fun, interesting way to look back upon that time :)
Excellent pictorial review of this time period in San Diego.. Very enjoyable...
I bought and shipped this book for Christmas to both my Sister and Mother In Law. They were both surprised and very happy with it.
This is my 3rd volume and I have enjoyed all of them. Thank you for assembling all this juicy history in a great timeline that's easy to follow.
