The telling of San Diego’s history through photos continues in this third installment of “San Diego Memories: A Time of Change — The 1960s and 1970s.”
Presented by the San Diego Union-Tribune in partnership with San Diego History Center, this 176-page hardcover book features baby boomers coming of age, rock ‘n’ roll, environmentalism, civil rights and feminism, the Vietnam War and economic distress, all from the archives of San Diego History Center and the Union-Tribune, plus submissions from the general public to show everyday life during this important time in San Diego history.
Great book brings back lots of memories of growing up in the this time frame
Great photos. Book is well organized and a poignant reminder of those years. I especially liked the inclusion of JFK.
Very pleased with this publication and the speedy order process.
Lived in the San Diego area for two years in the late sixties, this was a fun, interesting way to look back upon that time :)
