About the book

Relive the magic of the Portland Trail Blazers’ historic 1977 season with a foreword by Bill Schonely

Foreword by Bill Schonely

Relive the magic of the Portland Trail Blazers’ historic 1977 season and NBA Championship through the eyes of award-winning photographers and writers of The Oregonian/OregonLive in this hardcover collector's book perfect for any Blazer fan.

This heirloom-quality, coffee-table book follows the astounding rise of a then 7-year-old franchise under new head coach Jack Ramsay. It includes player profiles of Blazer legends who helped define the meaning of Rip City, including '80-'90s legend Clyde Drexler and modern superstar Damian Lillard, and traces how the team and the city have grown up together.

Note: This book is an unofficial account of the Blazers' 1977 season from news coverage by The Oregonian, and is not endorsed by the NBA or the Portland Trail Blazers.

My only concern and the reason for not 5 stars is the packaging. My book came in a box that didn't have any packing material around the book and fortunately it was shrink wrapped so no damage to the book but it was loose and the box was damaged in a couple of corners. Love the book just FYI for your next shipments.
