Pediment Publishing is a custom publishing company specializing in high quality coffee table books. Sale and distribution of our books is handled primarily through our newspaper clients. The content of the books is designed to appeal to the readership of each newspaper. From pictorial histories to columnist books, photography books, police and fire department histories, sports championships, current events and photo contest Capture Books, our beautiful, heirloom-quality books are designed specifically for each newspaper market.

One of our newest titles is “Bobby”, a pictorial retrospective on the amazing career of Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden. From his first game in 1976 to the 2010 Gator Bowl, this 128-page, hard-bound, full-color book follows Bobby Bowden’s unmatched coaching career. We are proud to be in our fourth year of publishing Super Bowl books. This year we are working on a book covering the season of the New Orleans Saints called “Our Team. Our Time.”. Our other Super Bowl book covers the season of the Indianapolis Colts called “Blue Reign”.

Other recent sports projects include “Summitt: A Pictorial Retrospective of College Basketball’s Greatest Coach”, a reflective look at the amazing career of Pat Summitt, the all-time winningest coach in NCAA basketball history, “Farewell Giants Stadium”, a coffee-table book capturing the extraordinary events at this stadium over the past 30+ years, and “Titletown’s Team” a keepsake book with hundreds of photos, statistics and coverage of the history Green Bay Packers. Some photos, including many from the glory years of Vince Lombardi in the 1960s, have never been published before.

Among the other new titles published in 2009 are several Capture Books, our innovative web-based photo contest project that results in a high-end coffee-table book of incredible local photography. Among the titles are “Capture My Utah”, “Capture El Paso ‘09”, “Capture My Chicago”, “Capture Indy”, “Capture Cincinnati ‘09”, and “Capture Rochester ‘09”.

We ventured into the world of pets in 2009 when we teamed up with Pullitzer Prize Finalist, photographer David Woo, to capture a wide array of celebrities and their beloved pets in the book “Top Dogs and Their Pets”. Get a little Kinky (Friedman) with a pig whose worst habit is talking politics, then experience a safe and nurturing place with Maggie, the rescued dog of Dr. Phil. Along the way, you’ll get a little closer to Laura Bush, Jimmy Johnson, Owen Wilson, Cesar Millan, and many, many more.
