Among our newest titles are two books on the BCS National Championship teams “Bodda Getta: Auburn’s Remarkable Run” produced with the Opelika-Auburn News and “Duck Season” produced with the Daily Emerald, the University of Oregon student newspaper. Another top-selling sports book is “Believe It! Texas Rangers: 2010 American League Champions,” a pictorial retrospective on the amazing 2010 season of the Texas Rangers, produced with the Dallas Morning News.
We are proud to be in our fifth year of publishing Super Bowl books. This year we are working on a book covering the season of the Green Bay Packers called “Green, Gold, and Glorious”.
Among the other new titles published in 2010 are several Capture Books, our innovative web-based photo contest project that results in a high-end coffee-table book of incredible local photography. We ventured into the world of pets in 2009 when we teamed up with Pullitzer Prize Finalist, photographer David Woo, to capture a wide array of celebrities and their beloved pets in the book “Top Dogs and Their Pets”. This beautiful, hard-bound coffee-table book will both lift your heart and raise your eyebrows. A perfect gift and conversation starter, sure to surprise and endear the kindred soul of all pet lovers. We also ventured into the world of Rock ‘N Roll as we worked with The Commercial Appeal and Elvis Presley Enterprises to publish a rare fine-art book called “Elvis Presley’s Memphis”.
Of course, we continue to publish a wide range of classic, hardcover pictorial history books. In addition to second and third volumes in many of the areas we have already been, we published first-time books in many markets.
