Our second Super Bowl book is available now. This beautiful 208-page hard-cover book features the award-winning photography and writing of The Star-Ledger. One Giant Leap chronicles the Giants’ remarkable run to the championship, including more than 60 pages on the teams win over the highly-favored New England Patriots and the parade that followed. There is a limited supply available of this beautiful book.
Another recent sports book is “Rutgers: An Amazing Season” which we published for The Star-Ledger. This beautiful hardbound book provides a vivid game-by-game review of Rutgers’ record-breaking football season through the eyes of the award-winning photographers and writers of The Star-Ledger.
Among the other new titles published in 2007 are two cookbooks with very different themes. The first, titled “Shore Gourmet”, features signature recipes from the great chefs of the Jersey Shore. This beautiful book is highlighted with beautiful food photography and great recipes from truly great restaurants. The other cookbook is a collection of more than 300 home-tested recipes from 101 cooks who submitted their treasures to The Fayetteville Observer in Fayetteville, NC. “Cook’s Corner” features interesting columns on all contributors plus the outstanding recipes and great food photography.
We published a number of full-color coffee-table books featuring extraordinary photography. Among them is “Desert Originality”, featuring more than 400 incredible images that capture the beauty and uniqueness of the area in and around Tucson, Arizona. In addition to the work from the award winning photographers of the Arizona Daily Star and Tucson Citizen, the book also features photos submitted by the readers of these two newspapers.
Of course, we continue to publish a wide range of classic, hardcover pictorial history books. In addition to second and third volumes in many of the areas we have already been, we published first-time books in many markets including Ventura County, CA, Washington, PA, Lexington, KY, Sandusky, OH, Prescott, AZ, Walla Walla, WA, and Atlantic City, NJ.
